# Ship a product to your creator

> If your campaign includes a physical product, you send it to the creator before filming.

If your campaign includes a physical product, you send it to the creator before filming. This guide covers the steps and what to expect.

## How it works

```mermaid theme={null}
    A["Creator joins"] --> B["Creator confirms address<br/>(sent to the project chat)"]
    B --> C["You ship the product"]
    C --> D["You add a tracking link"]
    D --> E["Creator marks it received"]
    E --> F["Filming starts<br/>(7-day deadline begins)"]
    A --> S["Scripting<br/>(in parallel)"]
    S --> F
```

Shipping and scripting happen **at the same time**. The script does not wait for the product, and the product does not wait for the script. Filming starts when both are done.

## Step by step

### 1. Get the creator's address

When a creator joins, they confirm their shipping address. It is sent to the **project chat** and shown on the video page under the creator's details.

### 2. Ship the product

Send the product to that address using your courier. For shipped products, you chose the expected arrival window when you created the campaign (1–3 days, 4–7 days, or 1–2 weeks, counted from the creator's assignment).

### 3. Add a tracking link

On the video page, click **Add tracking link** and paste the tracking URL from your courier (for example Aramex, DHL, or FedEx). The creator can use it to follow the delivery. You can edit the link later if it changes.

Adding a tracking link is optional but strongly recommended — it keeps the creator informed and ready.

### 4. The creator confirms delivery

When the product arrives, the creator marks it as **received**. The video's product status changes to **Delivered**. The creator then has **7 days** to upload the video.

## Gift or return

In the video brief you set the **Product status**:

| Status | What it means |
| - | - |
| **Gift** | The creator keeps the product. |
| **Return required** | The product must be sent back after the video is finalized or the project ends. |

Stllr coordinates the courier for returns — the creator does not need to organize it. High-value items should usually be set to **Return required**.

## If the creator buys the product themselves

For some campaigns, creators buy the product locally instead of receiving a shipment. In that case there is nothing for you to ship, and the creator can start filming as soon as the script is approved.

The cost of the product is not free for you. The creator is reimbursed for the purchase, and the **Stllr team coordinates the reimbursement with you**. They will reach out to you about it, so you do not need to arrange anything with the creator yourself.

## Frequently asked questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="The creator says the product has not arrived.">
    Check your tracking link and courier status. Contact the courier if needed and update the creator in the chat. The creator's 7-day deadline does not start until they mark the product as received.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="I need a different address.">
    Once confirmed, the creator's address cannot be changed on the platform. Tell the creator in the chat if something is wrong.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="The creator left the project, or I changed the creator, after I shipped the product.">
    The product is returned. Stllr coordinates the courier, and the creator does not need to arrange anything. If you have not heard about the return, contact Stllr support with your video ID.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does Stllr track the shipment for me?">
    No. Stllr is not connected to any courier. The tracking link comes from your own courier, and you paste it in yourself. Adding it is optional but strongly recommended, so the creator knows when to expect the product.
