# Complete your profile setup

> Profile setup starts immediately after you create your Stllr account.

Profile setup starts immediately after you create your Stllr account. It collects the core information needed to match you with projects. It has 6 short steps and takes under three minutes to complete — excluding work samples.

You must complete all steps before accessing your dashboard.

## Step 1 — Social usernames

Enter your usernames for your social media accounts. Stllr supports TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and other platforms.

* If you signed up with TikTok, your TikTok username is pre-filled.
* If you signed up with Instagram, your Instagram username is pre-filled.
* You are not required to fill in all platforms — add the ones that apply to you.

## Step 2 — Gender

Select your gender. This is used to match you with projects that specify a creator gender requirement.

## Step 3 — Niche

Select up to 3 content niches that best describe your content. Your niche selection is one of the primary signals the matching engine uses to recommend you for relevant projects — choose accurately.

## Step 4 — Country

Select your country of residence.

* If you signed up with email and password, this field is usually pre-selected based on your phone number.
* Quick options are: Saudi Arabia, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Oman, and Qatar.
* If your country is not listed, choose **Other** and pick your country from the full list.

Your country also sets your wallet currency.

## Step 5 — Work samples

Upload video samples that showcase your content style and quality. Work samples are one of the most important parts of your profile — they are the first thing brands look at when evaluating creators.

* If you signed up with Instagram, a selection of your uploaded videos is fetched automatically.
* If you signed up with TikTok, Google or email & password, you need to upload samples manually.
* Large video files are supported. Keep the page open until the upload finishes.
* This step is skippable, but skipping it significantly reduces your profile's appeal to brands.

## Step 6 — Language

Select the languages you create content in. Language is used directly in project matching — you will mostly be recommended for projects in languages you have selected.

> Dialect selection is not available at this time. Only language affects matching currently.

## After profile setup

Once you complete all 6 steps, you are taken to your **dashboard**. From there, you will see prompts to complete additional profile details:

* **Complete profile** — add your Stllr username, bio, birthdate, and face showing preference.
* **Add shipping address** — required to join projects that involve physical product delivery.
* **Add bank details** — required to withdraw your earnings. Adding this early means you can withdraw as soon as you receive your first payment.

    Only the work samples step is skippable. All other steps must be completed to proceed to your dashboard.

    Yes. All fields set during profile setup can be updated at any time from your profile settings.

  <Accordion title="Why are my TikTok videos not imported automatically?">
    TikTok's API restricts access to your uploaded videos, so Stllr cannot fetch them automatically. You will need to upload your work samples manually. Instagram doesn't restrict uploaded videos, which is why auto-import works for Instagram signups.
