# Sign up with email and password

> You can create a Stllr account using any email address and a password of your choice.

You can create a Stllr account using any email address and a password of your choice. This method does not require a social media account.

## Before you start

* Have access to the email address you want to use — you will receive account notifications and updates on this address.

## Steps

1. Go to the Stllr signup page.
2. Select **Sign up with email**.
3. Enter your email address and choose a password.
4. Submit the form to create your account.
5. You are redirected to **profile setup** to complete your profile.

## After signing up

Once your account is created, you are taken directly to profile setup — a short 6-step form that prepares your profile for project matching. See [Complete your profile setup](/creators/getting-started/complete-profile-setup) to continue.

## Connecting your social accounts

Signing up with email and password does not link any social accounts to your profile. Your follower count and creator level cannot be determined until you link at least one social account.

You can link your TikTok or Instagram account at any time from your account settings. This is strongly recommended — your follower count directly affects which projects you are eligible for and how your pricing is set.

    You cannot replace your email/password login with a social login. However, you can link your TikTok or Instagram account from settings at any time to connect your social profile to your existing Stllr account.

    No, but it is strongly recommended. Without a linked social account, your follower count cannot be verified, which limits the projects you are eligible for and makes your profile less appealing to brands and the Stllr team.
