# Sign up with TikTok

> Signing up with TikTok is the recommended method if you have a TikTok account.

Signing up with TikTok is the recommended method if you have a TikTok account. It links your TikTok profile to Stllr instantly, imports your follower count, and shortens the profile setup process.

## Before you start

* Have a TikTok account.
* Prepare an email address to use for your Stllr account — it does not have to be the same email associated with your TikTok account.

## Steps

1. Go to the Stllr signup page.
2. Select **Continue with TikTok**.
3. Enter the email address you want to use for your Stllr account and submit.
4. You are redirected to TikTok's login page. Sign in with your TikTok credentials and grant the requested permissions.
5. You are redirected back to Stllr and your account is created with your TikTok profile linked.
6. You are taken to **profile setup** to complete your profile.

## Why Stllr asks for your email

TikTok does not share your email address with third-party apps during login. Because Stllr requires an email address for account notifications and support, you are asked to provide one before being redirected to TikTok. This email becomes your primary Stllr account email and is used to log in alongside TikTok.

The email you provide does not need to match the one on your TikTok account.

## What gets imported

When you sign up with TikTok, the following information is pulled from your TikTok profile and used to pre-fill parts of your Stllr profile:

| Data | Imported |
| - | - |
| Name | Yes |
| TikTok username | Yes |
| Profile photo | Yes |
| Bio | Yes |
| Follower count | Yes |

Because TikTok restricts access to your uploaded videos, they cannot be fetched automatically. During profile setup, you will have the option to upload work samples manually. This step is optional but strongly recommended—work samples make your profile much more appealing to brands.

## After signing up

Once your account is created, you are taken directly to profile setup — a short 6-step form that prepares your profile for project matching. Because your TikTok username and follower count are already imported, parts of profile setup are pre-filled. See [Complete your profile setup](/creators/getting-started/complete-profile-setup) to continue.
