# Product reimbursement

> Some projects require you to purchase the product yourself from a local store instead of having it shipped to you.

Some projects require you to purchase the product yourself from a local store instead of having it shipped to you. When this applies, Stllr reimburses the product cost and adds it to your wallet after your video is approved.

## How it works

1. The project brief specifies that you need to purchase the product locally. The Stllr team sets the reimbursement amount for the project.
2. Purchase the product yourself and proceed with filming as normal.
3. Once the brand approves your video, both amounts are paid to your Stllr wallet — your video earnings and the reimbursement appear as separate credits in your transaction history.

You do not receive the reimbursement before filming. The product cost is covered after approval. On the project page you see a single combined payout figure; in your wallet the two amounts arrive as separate transactions.
