# Upload your video

> Once your project is in the Filming phase, you are ready to upload your video.

Once your project is in the **Filming** phase, you are ready to upload your video. Uploading moves the project to the **Reviewing** phase, where the brand (or the Stllr ops team for premier projects) evaluates your submission.

## Before you upload

* Make sure your video follows the brief strictly — instructions, product usage, format, face preference, and any special requests.
* Make sure your video is high quality: clear visuals, good lighting, clear audio, edited for errors, follows the brief, and uses only approved music and graphics.
* Video files must be **500 MB or smaller**. Compress your file before uploading if it exceeds this limit.
* Supported formats: **MP4**, **MOV**, and **WebM**.
* If your project involves a physical product, you must have marked the product as received before you can upload. See [Confirm your shipping address](/creators/projects/confirm-shipping-address#marking-the-product-as-received).

## Steps

1. Open the **project page** while it is in the **Filming** phase.
2. Click **Upload Video**.
3. Add your video in one of two ways:
   * **Upload** — select a video file from your device, then click **Upload**.
   * **Import from a link** — paste a direct video URL, or a Google Drive link that is shared publicly, and submit it.
4. Wait until the video finishes uploading or importing. A preview of your video appears when it is ready.
5. Click **Submit**.
6. Once submitted, your project moves to the **Reviewing** phase automatically.

> Keep the window open while your video uploads. If you try to close it or leave the page, you will be warned that leaving may interrupt the upload.

### If the upload fails

If your connection drops or the upload fails, an **Upload failed** message appears with a **Try again** button. Clicking it continues the upload from where it stopped — you don't have to start over. If you reload or leave the page, the upload is lost and you need to start again.

## What happens after you upload

Your video enters the **Reviewing** phase. What happens next depends on the project type:

| Project type | Review path |
| - | - |
| UGC (standard) | Video goes directly to the brand for approval or edit request. |
| UGC (premier) | Video is reviewed by the Stllr ops team first, then forwarded to the brand. |
| Influencer | Same as UGC — reviewed by Stllr for premier, directly by brand for standard. |

During the reviewing phase, all you can do is wait. There is no system timeout — the brand may take some time to respond. The Stllr team monitors review times and follows up with brands that are slow to respond.

## Frequently asked questions

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="My video is on Google Drive — do I need to download it first?">
    No. Choose **Import from a link** and paste the Google Drive link. The file must be shared publicly ("Anyone with the link") so Stllr can access it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I replace my video after uploading it?">
    Yes, you can replace your video at any time by uploading a new video file. The latest upload will be used for the review.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does uploading a draft affect my chances of approval?">
    The brand reviews whatever you upload. If you submit a draft, be clear about it in the project chat so the brand knows to expect a revised version. Ideally, upload the best version you have available.
