Every video has a project chat with its creator. Chat is the fastest way to ask questions, give extra context, and solve problems — start here for any issue or request before taking other steps.

Open the chat

  • On the campaign page, open the Actions menu on a video and choose Chat with creator.
  • On the video page, use the Chat with creator button.
  • You can also open the Chats page to see all conversations.
The chat includes you, the creator, and the members of your company team.

When to use chat

If chatting with the creator does not solve it, see Resolve a problem with a creator or contact Stllr support.

Good chat habits

  • Keep requests clear and polite. Creators respond faster to specific messages.
  • Share feedback in the chat and also use Reshoot request or script changes on the page, so it is tracked.
  • Do not share payment details or move the conversation off Stllr. Keeping everything in the chat protects both sides.

What happens to the chat

If you change the creator, the old chat is archived and you start a new conversation with the new creator.
