The Explore page shows all projects currently recommended to you. This guide walks you through reading a brief, checking your fit, and joining a project.

Before you start

Step 1 — Open a project brief

Go to your Explore page. Each card shows a summary of an available project. Click a project to open the full brief. The brief includes: Read the brief carefully before joining. Once you are in a project, you are expected to follow the brief strictly.

Step 2 — Check your fit

Before joining, compare the brief requirements against your profile. The matching engine allows some flexibility — you may be recommended for a project even if your profile does not meet every requirement exactly. Pay particular attention to:
  • Face preference — if the project requires shows-face and your preference is set to no-face, you will not be able to join.
  • Language — make sure the required language matches one of your selected languages.
  • Location — if outdoor shooting is required, confirm you can access the specified location.
  • Physical product — if the project involves a product shipment, confirm your shipping address is saved and up to date.

Step 3 — Join the project

Click the Join button on the brief page. Before the assignment is confirmed, you will see:
  1. Profile requirement gaps — a summary of any brief requirements your profile does not fully meet. Review these carefully. You can proceed even if gaps exist, but unmet requirements may affect your performance on the project.
  2. Terms and conditions — read and accept to continue.
Once you confirm, you are assigned to the project and it appears in your active projects.

After joining

Once assigned, you are taken to the project page. From here you can see:
  • The full brief details.
  • Your current phase in the project timeline.
  • A unique ID for support reference.
  • A chat button to open the project conversation.
  • Any assets, references, SKUs, and special instructions from the brief.
Your next step depends on the project type. See The video delivery process for a full walkthrough of what happens after you join.

The matching engine deliberately allows some flexibility in recommendations. It may recommend you for a project where one or two requirements are not a perfect match. The gap summary shown at the join confirmation step is there to make sure you are aware before committing.
