After joining a project, your goal is to deliver a video that meets the brief and gets approved by the brand. The process moves through a set of phases — not all of which apply to every project. This article explains each phase and what to expect throughout.

Project phases

Every project follows a phase-based timeline. Phases you pass through depend on the project’s requirements: For influencer projects, there is an additional Posted phase after approval — the brand expects you to publish the video on your social account. This is currently communicated by the Stllr team.

The project page

Once you join a project, everything happens on the project page. It gives you a full view of your current status and all the tools you need to deliver:
  • Phase timeline — shows your current phase and progress through the project.
  • Project ID — a unique reference code to use when contacting support.
  • Brief details — the full brief including instructions, assets, references, and SKUs.
  • Script — visible once submitted or approved.
  • Uploaded video — visible once uploaded, along with any edit requests from the brand.
  • Shipping tracking link — visible if the brand or Stllr team has added one.
  • Chat — opens the project conversation. Participants include you, the brand, and any company team members on the brand side.
  • Actions — context-sensitive buttons for your current phase (confirm address, submit script, upload video, etc.) as well as the option to leave the project.

Delivery deadline

You have 7 days to upload a video from the start of your project. The deadline starts on:
  • The date you are assigned to the project — if no physical product needs to be shipped to you.
  • The date you mark the product as received — if the project involves a physical product delivery.
You will receive warnings before the deadline is reached. If no video is uploaded by the deadline, you are automatically removed from the project.
The 7-day deadline may be disabled by the Stllr team on a case-by-case basis.
The video you upload does not have to be your final version — uploading a draft stops the deadline clock. You can continue refining and resubmitting through the review phase.

Video quality and brief compliance

The platform does not automatically check video quality, but you are expected to follow the brief strictly. Deviations from the brief are the most common reason brands request edits or replace creators. For premier projects, your video is reviewed by the Stllr team before it is sent to the brand.

Earnings and payment

Your full project earnings are added to your Stllr wallet immediately when the brand approves your video. There is no holding period. If you leave a project or are removed before your video is approved, you do not receive payment — regardless of how much work was completed. If you are removed due to the brand’s request or Stllr team decision (not your own action), compensation may apply depending on whether a video was produced. Contact Stllr support for dispute resolution. See Your Stllr wallet for details on withdrawing your earnings.

Frequently asked questions

The platform does not have a timeout for the review phase. If a brand takes an unusually long time to respond, the Stllr team monitors the situation and follows up. In exceptional cases, the project may be cancelled. You do not need to take any action — contact support if you are concerned.
There is no system-enforced limit on edit requests. In practice, brands are expected to keep revision requests reasonable — this is managed by the Stllr team on a case-by-case basis.
No. Edit requests before final approval do not incur additional charges to the brand or changes to your payment amount.
You lose access to the project page. The project chat is archived and no longer active. If a video was produced before removal, you may be eligible for compensation.
For UGC projects, your video goes directly to the brand for approval once uploaded (or to the Stllr team first for premier projects). For influencer projects, the same approval flow applies, but after approval you are also expected to post the video on your social account. Posting is currently coordinated outside the platform by the Stllr team.
Contact Stllr support. The team monitors project activity and follows up directly with brands that go silent after a milestone is completed. Do not leave the project — your progress and completed milestones are on record.
