Submitting a script before filming is optional — some creators prefer to film directly without one. However, we recommend preparing and submitting a script first, as this makes brand review easier and helps reduce the likelihood of major edit requests later. If the brand has already provided a script, this phase is skipped and your project moves directly to filming.

Three ways to submit a script

1. Write it manually

Type or paste your script directly. This gives you full control over the content.

2. Generate with AI

Use Stllr’s built-in AI script generator. It reads the project brief and generates a script instantly based on the brand’s instructions, product details, and requirements. This is the recommended approach — the generated script is tailored to the brief and can be edited before submitting. To use AI generation:
  1. On the project page in the Scripting phase, click Generate with AI.
  2. Review the generated script.
  3. Edit as needed.
  4. Click Submit to send it to the brand for approval.

3. Upload a document

Upload your script as a .pdf or .txt file. This method is supported but not recommended — document uploads are harder for brands to review and comment on. Use text-based scripts instead.

Submitting your script

Once you are happy with your script — whether written, generated, or uploaded — click Submit. The script is sent to the brand for review. The brand will either:
  • Approve the script — your project moves to the filming phase.
  • Request an edit — you will see their feedback and can revise and resubmit.
There is no system-enforced limit on script revision rounds.

After script approval

Once the brand approves your script, your project moves to the Filming phase. Start filming as soon as possible.
